I will miss this little version of you

I see you growing everyday

And I know someday

You will fly away from me

I know that is what you are born to do, to fly

When I was 19, I flew away from my mother

I cried, too

It is only now that I fully understand the yearning of a Mother

I will always see you as the little baby who’s only world was being in my arms

I will miss you
