Painting
All paintings are combination of watercolor, ink, gold acrylic or gold leaf. Many of them are painting on thick watercolor paper, or handmade paper I collect on my travels through Southeast Asia. Handmade paper materials range from pineapple leaf, mulberry, and recycled materials. These paintings reflect different narratives, some revealing personal stories of the heart, the journey of postpartum and motherhood, poems from imaginative lands, cultural histories, or humanitarian traumas we currently coexist in.
