Jan - June 2017 Teaching Community Artist, Artists Working in Education, Milwaukee WI

Facilitated weekly art classes at Neu Life Community Resource Center with high school students. Created art proposal for community public art sculpture that is now installed in Alice’s Garden. Designed and facilitated writing and painting workshops centered around strengthening knowledge in ancestral roots. Built painted, interactive community puppet with students and presented it to neighborhood and Alderman ok opening date. Organized supply lists, curriculum, budget, community engagement plan, and proposal for permission to Milwaukee County Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture.


April - June 2016 Special Exhibitions Boutique Assistant, Metropolitan Museum of Art — New York, NY

Worked in the boutiques in multiple areas of the museum and special exhibitions, including the annual fashion show hosted by the Costume Institute’s for the Gala opening, Manus x Machina. Learned in detail the history, workings and design setup of each exhibition and the product being sold to support the museum. Handled money and experience in retail in the museums stores. Customer Service.


July 2017 Commissioned Artist Participant, Visions from the Inside — New York, NY

Joined bi-coastal organization CultureStrike in creating artwork illustrating the stores of detained migrants in detention centers separated from their families. Exhibited nationwide.

Facilitated art workshop to middle and high school MPS students while on a road trip to Mississippi, AL for the Freedom Summer civil rights conference conference. Organized a collaborative mural project with the students that reflected what they learned about the Civil Rights movement while on the trip. Worked as a counselor for the students, supervised, helped to further understand the material they were learning. Created beautiful relationships with the students in the process.

Collaboration with a team and artists to get exhibitions installed and deinstalled in a timely manner. Art handling, unpacking, packing, and installation Making of art projects for special events. Cooperation with artists of different fields. Curation of special cultural events. Trained in all aspects of exhibition installation, from tools, operation of a lift to do lighting, and different hanging techniques for various wall surfaces.


Sept - Nov 2014 Core Community Artist for Urban Alchemy, beintween — Milwaukee, WI

Lead art workshops to communities of different ages in backgrounds to produce public art with art organization beintween. Participation in workshops with internationally known community artist and activist Lily Yeh. Experimentation with vast art forms and media, including multiple community art workshops and installations for the Swing Park Bridge off of Brady Street. Assistance in making drawing, paintings and installations with artists and non artists. This project was in collaboration with Flux Designs.

Curated richly diverse exhibitions to promote local, and out of town artists. Completed research and artwork submission for group shows. Managed all aspects of creative and professional business to social media, finances, gallery paperwork, art handling, unpacking, packing and installation. Organized community youth art events. Lead screen printing workshops. Had free access to printmaking studio and other resources in the studio. Received mentorship from artist residences. Worked closely with various local, national, and international exhibiting artists through tours and workshops.


May - July 2011 Artist Team Member,  Milwaukee Art Museum, Art Xpress program — Milwaukee, WI

Worked alongside the entire development team in an energetic and creative environment to create a mural for the Milwaukee County Transit System busses. Consistently met schedules and deadlines for all illustration projects. Produced imaginative illustrations in an efficient and timely manner. Adapted to the established art style of the studio for consistency and quality purposes. Created a series of rough sketches for review, revision and approval.
